With 20 years of high school teaching experience in China, I have been teaching art classes across Austin since 2014. Through years of nurturing in a family skilled in calligraphy, my works have been included in educational texts on the subject, which has led me to teach brush writing classes in RRISD high school and AISD elementary school. Throughout my time as a teacher, I’ve recognized that helping others discover and explore their own personal journey toward their creative talents is such an amazing experience – all while having fun doing so! I am passionate about instructing art enthusiasts to discover their creative potential. I love to see them develop their own style, skills and self-confidence. Everyone has the innate ability to create, it is a joy to witness the diversity in how others express themselves in their own visual language.
